Fish en Coquilles


1 cup left-over fish          
1 onion, diced
8 mussels or clams          
            Salt and pepper
½ cup bread-crumbs
3 Tbsps. butter or other fat
1 clove garlic                                 
Buttered crumbs
1 tsp. minced parsley
Dice the fish with the mussels or clams. Add the crumbs which have been soaked in two Tbsp. of milk, and the garlic, parsley, onions, salt and pepper. Melt the fat and when hot add the mixture and cook several minutes. Serve the dishes on a platter or on individual plates.
