Old-Fashioned Creamy Rice Pudding

¼ cup rice                            ½ tsp. salt
4 cups milk, scalded         ½ tsp. cinnamon
¼ cup sugar                         ½ cup raisins
Wash the rice, then add remaining ingredients and pour into a greased baking-dish. Bake in slow oven (350F.) 2 hours, stirring several times during baking. The mixture should not boil. Serve hot or cold. Serves 6
This is the old-fashioned creamy pudding, which has such a delicious flavour because of the long, slow cooking.
