In Place of Water


Rice can be prepared with other liquids besides water and you do not have to use “Minute Rice”. The flavours or colours obtained in this way can subtly enhance the dish in which the rice is used. One caution, however- if you are using a liquid that has a high level of dissolved solids such as tomato or mushroom soup the risk of scorching is greatly increased
